I’ve worked on hundreds of launches from romance to sci-fi, memoirs to murder mysteries. If it has pages, I can market it.
I have spent the last fifteen years working at the intersection of book marketing and editing, which means I understand both how books are made and how they are discovered. I have worked in marketing and acquisitions across multiple Big Five publishing houses, with a particular focus on helping debut authors find their footing and their audience.
My background gives me a rare advantage. As an editor, I know how to strengthen a manuscript while preserving the author’s voice. As a marketer, I know how to position that same book so readers immediately understand why it matters to them. These two skills inform each other, and that is what makes my approach effective.
I hold a Master’s degree in Publishing and Writing from Emerson College and a Bachelor’s degree in English and Communication from UNC Chapel Hill.
